Love Yourself More Than Anyone Else Could - James Van Praagh

Me & James Van Praagh
Me and James Van Praagh

I am still catching up on my blogs, so I gathered my notes from James Van Praagh's workshop from October 2019...yes I have quite a bit of catching up to do!

"Love yourself more than anyone else could," was the first quote I scribbled in my journal from James' Discover Your Spiritual Superpowers! workshop. That is certainly a beautiful affirmation from someone I have admired for over 25 years.

Saturday morning October 5, 2019, I prepared to go at the Houston Convention Center to attend the Hay House Live! workshop with James Van Praagh. I have followed James ever since he appeared on the television series The Other Side in 1994. He had his own show Beyond With James Van Praagh in 2002, he was the creator and executive producer of The Ghost Whisperer, wrote more than a dozen books, to name a few of his many accomplishments. As a child, I was an avid book reader (apparently that has never left me), and topics that fascinated me even in my youth, were about psychic abilities and life beyond death.

As usual, I said a prayer and visualized how the event would unfold, before I arrived at the venue. I pictured myself sitting in the front row, right in the center. I envisioned a wonderful lecture, meeting kind souls, and of course having a moment with James Van Praagh. I always pray "all this or even better," as the Universe usually has better in store than we can imagine. I also add in "all for my highest good." The reason I do that, is because, we can decide how we want things to work out, and get stuck there. I know I used to. Sometimes things don't go the way we want them to. What I believe now, is that if it isn't in my best interest, it won't happen. I believe that everything is working out for me, even if it doesn't look that way at the time. Because of this view, I am not disappointed when things don't work out the way I want them to. I feel that I am being Divinely guided, either away from something not right for me, or guided towards something better. It is a more positive way to look at all of the events that happen in your life.

Hay House Live! Houston
Front and center always!

When I walked in the door to the class, just as I had visualized, my seat was waiting for me. I plopped down my tote bags and said a quiet thank you. I was early of course, I always am. I visualize what I want, but I do participate in making it happen. I'm not forcing it, but I am a co-creator in my life along with the Universe. If I arrived on time, it would be more left to chance as to where I would sit. I had no way of knowing if I would be first in the room or not, but I felt I would be. Some people like being in the back, some people don't care where they sit, I just want to see everything, every expression, every moment. I feel more connected that way.

A kindness left behind
A kindness left behind.

I also like to arrive early so I can leave a kindness for someone to find as part of my Kindness...Pass It On Mission. I left a Kindness necklace with a Lao Tzu quote along with a note and a butterfly for someone to find. I don't put my name on it, just good wishes for a happy day. Sometimes I get just a random "thank you" message sent to my website. For a long time I didn't catch on that people were expressing gratitude for the intentional acts of kindness left behind. I chuckled at myself for my lack of awareness when I finally figured it out. I wasn't expecting a thank you, I just want to share some love, that's more than enough.

I took some photos of the room and sat down as people began to file in. Everyone was friendly and were introducing themselves and chatting away. This tall, otherworldly young man began sharing his healing experiences to me. He traveled from Washington state to Texas just to meet James Van Praagh. He told me about several miraculous healings he facilitated. He didn't have any particular training such as Reiki, it was just flowing through him and he intuitively knew what to do. He was very kind and wanted to heal the world without any type of compensation. I talked to him a little about that, as I do believe an energy exchange (healing for money, which is also energy), is not a bad thing at all. You would pay a doctor, a plumber, anyone for services, why should a healer be free? I think more value is given to it that way, and receiving that energy (money) back makes things more balanced for everyone involved. He was working to get a website together. I told him that I did social media and marketing for years, gave him my business card and told him if he ever needed help, to reach out. He seemed so touched by my offer, he had tears in his eyes and gave me a big hug. Then he held my hand, and gave me some healing energy! How lovely is that, and the class hadn't even started yet! "All this or even better" - for sure!

Soon a new friend sat next to me. Her name is Linda and she is a tarot and oracle card reader and such a sweet soul. I even booked a reading with her the following week, which I will be writing about soon. I'm not sure why I didn't think to get a picture together with her! Here's her website if you want a reading: www.lindajoneslightreader.com

And then James Van Praagh entered the room. He was so funny and captivating. It really was a thrill to learn from this renowned psychic and medium. The workshop was to help find out if you are a psychic, healer, or medium. At the time, with my Reiki Master certification, I only felt like a healer. I always felt that psychic and mediumship abilities had to be something you were born with. But this class was quite a third eye opener!

James talked about fear, and how it holds us back from our gifts. He said there are two ways to look at it and he shared these acronyms: FEAR = False Ego Appearing Real or Fuck Everything And Run. After a hearty laughter from the audience, we all agreed the former was the one to go with, although our tendency is the latter.

He had us do this wonderful Mountain Exercise. It was like a guided meditation, but we did it with a notebook in hand to jot down what we saw along the journey that James led us on. We would walk and come upon a bridge, a boulder, crystals, and more. We would need to describe what we saw or what we did. When he finished the journey, he reviewed it all with us, and each aspect of the journey had a parallel to our current life's journey.

During the psychic portion of the class, James said that we are all psychic.Everything is energy. That part I already knew from my Reiki classes, but I never thought of myself as psychic. James said that what holds us back is unworthiness, distractions like our phone, and more. This made sense, I know that my intuition is stronger when I take time to meditation, to focus inward and let go of all of the distractions.

We did a healing exercise to recognize our fears and turn them into love. It was a much better way to look at everything. One of the things I feared was not fulfilling my life purpose here. I turned it into love by stating: I am on purpose right now. And I've thought about this alot since the class. I don't think our purpose is necessarily tied to a career. I don't think it's about making alot of money, although we shouldn't think that because we are doing something that we love, that it can't be monetarily rewarding too. I think our purpose may be as simple as learning to love yourself, learning to forgive (even if it is just yourself), understanding differences in others, overcoming prejudices, realizing you are worthy of a healthy relationship. It doesn't have to be about making this huge mark on the planet, it's about elevating yourself, healing yourself, learning, learning, and learning.

James said the first place of healing is in the mind, and our resistance holds back healing. He made us think about what we are resisting. My resistance is feeling unworthy. But I'm working on it.

We also had to make a list of what we love about ourselves. Have you ever tried that? I highly recommend. See if it's easy or challenging for you. If it is challenging, keep doing it until you are comfortable, and believe all of the wonderful things about yourself. Here's some of mine: I help others. I am smart. I love cats. I write well. Spirituality and personal growth are important to me. I have artistic talent.

James led us through mediumship exercises. Linda and I worked together. She did a reading on me, and I did one on her. It really was fun and I was surprised that I actually saw someone in my mind for her. I wasn't expecting to see anything, but it opened up the possibility that I could. Honestly prior to this, I was a little afraid to be able to see people from "the beyond," but after this class I am fine with it! And since this class, I have seen departed people and pets more and more. I began to start noticing when I worked with Reiki clients. I am in their energy field, so this makes sense. I would see flashes of pictures at first, but all of a sudden I would see a face and I would know intuitively that it was a mother who passed, or a beloved dog. And when I would share this information, the client usually burst into tears because of how much that person or pet meant to them. I am no more gifted than anyone else, in other words, anyone can do this. And James helped me to see that. I think what is different than most, is the desire. One of the Reiki Masters I trained under had no desire to ever let anyone who has passed on into her space. She shuts it out. I don't want anything negative, but I love the fact that when we are "gone" we really aren't gone at all. We just shed our bodies.

After the workshop we all had a moment to have a book signed and say a few words of thanks to James. It truly was an honor and something I will always cherish.

During one of the breaks I stopped to say hello to Starsha Maree. She ran some of the Hay House Facebook pages include the Hay House Wisdom Community. She is as lovely and kind in person as she is on social media.

I also waited to get a book signed by Robert Holden after his workshop was complete. He just exudes love and kindness.

And before I returned to the hotel I was staying at, I left The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success by Deepak Chopra, along with a butterfly magnet for someone to find at the convention center.

This was such an enlightening experience, and all that James Van Praagh taught about being a psychic, healer, and medium has allowed these abilities to blossom in me since the class. I trust myself more. I love myself more. As James says, I have "learned to love myself more than anyone else could."

Reiki Master

Several months after the Reiki II class, I attended the Master class. The class was fantastic. The energy of this group of students was different though. There were no familiar faces in this class, aside from our teacher. I didn't feel that they understood the sacredness of this experience. Reiki I is for the student to heal themselves, Reiki II is to heal others, and the Master class is about enlightenment.

After some instruction, one by one, we went into a separate room for our final attunement from our Reiki Master teacher. Attunements clear energetic pathways to allow Reiki energy to flow through the recipient. This attunement invokes the Master symbol as well. When I received mine, and went back to the classroom, everyone was loud and talking across the room to each other. I hopped on a massage table to be quiet and integrate the attunement. As I closed my eyes, I suddenly felt hands on my shoulders. One of the students had come up behind me and started massaging my shoulder, head, and neck. I didn't ask for it, and I wasn't asked if I wanted it. Honestly, it was a great massage, but I really just wanted a quiet moment. Reiki teaches that you should always ask for permission before giving Reiki. Shouldn't this be the same for massage or anything else? I'm not angry about it, I know she did this with a good intention, it just seemed to go along with the general attitude of the class. Many of the students (it's a small group mind you, 8 students) were looking at their phones throughout the entire class. As I said, the energy didn't feel quite right for an energy healing class. But what I learned was immeasurable.

We learned the Master symbol and received all of the information to be able to attune others. Not only can I give Reiki to myself and others, I can also teach it now too!

We learned about crystals and how they can enhance a Reiki session. We learned chakra balancing using a pendulum and crystals. We also learned how to "stitch" up an aura after an aura cleansing. Aside from the attunement, the chakra balancing was my favorite part. When the chakras are balanced you can physically see the chakras spinning when the pendulum is dropped into the chakra vortexes. You can also see when they are imbalanced by the way the pendulum swings.

I felt that I had learned everything I needed to do a proper Reiki session after this class. What a gift to be able to share with others! And to top it all off, the Reiki teacher ask me and my friend from the Reiki II class that I had been sharing Reiki with, to work as contractors for her on Saturdays! Within six months from my first Reiki class, I am working as a healing practitioner. I believe that one of the easiest ways to know if you are on the right path, is to notice how quickly the universe supports you.

I am now offering distance healing for people and pets on my Suitable Gifts Reiki page. I am also working on a new site specifically devoted to energy healing called: Enlightened Healing Space. It's a work in progress, but should be completed soon!

My next blog will be about some of the experiences I have had giving reiki. It has been an amazing journey, and I thank you all for being supportive in reading my blog and for your kind comments.

Reiki II - Healing Others

So much has happened in the last several months. I earned my Reiki II certificate. The class was fantastic. It was all women in this group, a small class of eight. One of the women from my Reiki I class was there, so it was nice to see a familiar face. She was healing from addiction and breast cancer, and said that reiki lessened the affects of the cancer treatments she went through, and even helped her hair grow in faster. She looked fantastic, her skin was glowing. The other ladies had various reasons for taking the class. Some were massage therapists who wanted to learn more to enhance their massage practices and also earn continuing education credits. Others wanted to learn so they could heal themselves, friends, family and even begin their own practices.

Along with being attuned to the power, harmony and distance symbols, I also learned how to send distance reiki using a surrogate. I sent reiki to my bestie 1,800 miles away during the class. It was only a 5 minute session, but it was great to learn how to do it so I could continue practicing at home. It is amazing that reiki can be sent anywhere in the world, to people, animals, places, and situations. This is such a loving modality, and it shows that we are all one and truly connected to each other. I learned how to heal things in the past, present and future, how to help in healing addictions, and more about working on others.

One at a time, as in the Reiki I class, we were individually attuned in a separate room. After the attunement, I came back into the classroom and hopped on a massage table to close my eyes and integrate this sacred experience for a moment.

We practiced on each other in class and learned how to do an aura cleansing. For everyone, and especially empaths who pick up everyone else's energy, this is a great way to cleanse the residue of other people's anger, fear, hostility, etc off of your auric field. Ever walk in a room and pick up the vibe in the air? Well, that energy can get stuck in your aura. We used a selenite wand and palo santo and learned to feel the layers of the aura. Each layer is connected to one of the 7 chakras and has a connection to our body, emotions, and spirit.

You can use palo santo or sage whenever you want to cleanse your aura yourself, you don't need a reiki attunement to do that. Just light the palo or sage, blow it out so you have smoke.  Gently wave the stick over your head, down your body, over your hands and under your feet. Make sure to completely distinguish the stick. I usually put mine in a small glass.

Our reiki teacher offered that we could come in after our class and use her tables to practice with each other. After the class she sent us all a follow up email, and I responded to let everyone in the class know that I would love to practice with any of them. I heard from one of the ladies in the class, and I was so psyched to be able to swap reiki with someone in a professional setting.

We scheduled a time to meet up after work one weekday. I packed up my reiki toolkit including quartz crystals, chakra stones, a selenite wand, water, and some palo santo. Quartz crystals go around the head of the one receiving reiki to amplify the energy. The chakra stones go next to or on the chakras. Just being near the stones alone can activate the chakras. As previously mentioned, the selenite wand and palo santo sticks are used to cleanse the aura. I arrived first and took the time to sit quietly and connect to reiki. When she arrived, it was apparent she had a challenging day at work, so I offered to give her reiki first.  Then she gave me reiki and I felt sensational after! We both left the healing center on a cloud. We met once a month after that, and each time felt great. It was wonderful to have a reiki friend to learn with, share what we were experiencing during the sessions, and practice, practice, practice.

I practiced long distance reiki on friends and family. I felt as time went on, I got better at it, and started feeling more confident in connecting and sending. There is a level of focus and intent that built up over time by consistently practicing. I developed an ease in using the symbols and hand positions. I also continued to get reiki and acupuncture during this time and practiced self reiki for 21 days after my attunement, as recommended. Self care is as important for the healer as it is for the one being healed.

I am truly grateful to my friends and family at home and at a distance who allowed me to be a conduit of reiki energy for them. I am also grateful to my teacher, my reiki friend, and reiki itself. Having this gift of reiki to share with others is a blessing beyond measure.

My next blog will be about my Reiki Master class, stay tuned!

Book Review: From My Hands and Heart by Kate Mackinnon

From My Hands and Heart: Achieving Health and Balance with Craniosacral Therapy by Kate Mackinnon published by Hay Houseis a beautiful journey through the world of cranialsacral therapy (CST). This gentle healing modality is brought to light through Kate's brilliant writing, fascinating case studies, and even includes instruction on how to perform CST ourselves.

I am still amazed how life flows and the things we need in our life comes to us when we remain open to it. I just "happened" upon Kate Mackinnon's Instagram page one afternoon, and noticed a beautiful picture of Dr. Wayne Dyer and Amma. I love them both and commented on the picture. Kate responded and I soon realized that I had just listened to her on Anita Moorjani's Hayhouse Radio Show. Kate is not only a Hay House author, she was Wayne Dyer's cranialsacral therapist.

I remember Wayne speaking of Kate Mackinnon on his radio show as well, including the work she did, and how she helped him. Prior to Wayne, I had not heard of CST. But Wayne was always introducing us to authors, ideas, healing modalities, and ways of being that were always positive and transformative. After hearing about Kate and her work, I knew I wanted to learn more.

From My Hands and Heart includes a wonderful forward from Dr. Wayne Dyer. The book is also lovingly peppered with some of the treatment Wayne went through, how it impacted him, and more. There is also a beautiful poem from Nancy Levin, inspired by her experience with CST.

What also drew me to this book was hearing that CST could help TMJ. I have struggled with teeth grinding and jaw clenching since I was a child. As an adult, I am still clenching my jaw, even throughout the day, leaving it feeling tight and tense. This has even caused bone growth on the inside of my lower jaw, due to the stress put on it from clenching. I was eager to read how CST could help me.

Kate Mackinnon's intelligence is palpable in how she explains the different structures of the body and how she is able to use this low-impact healing method to decrease and even eliminate pain in her clients. Initially trained in physical therapy, she leads us through her path to CST. She has such a thorough understanding of the human body, and even works on animals!

Kate also has a deep connection with the energy of the human body. She provides a powerful combination of mind, body, and spiritual healing to her clients, and explains it all to us easily and succinctly in this book. She tenderly works with the cranialsacral fluid in her clients bodies as well as their fascia. To get an overview of CST and what it looks like, check out her website for her video explaining her practice.

I marvel at the fact that she is able to ease pain and restore wellness with the physical pressure comparable to the weight of a nickel. This sounds like such a calm and relaxing method to participate in. Cranialsacral therapy works complimentary with many other healing modalities. She has worked on adults, children, teens, and babies (even in utero!).  CST is used for headaches, asthma, dental pain, easing symptoms in cerebral palsy, Bell's palsy, knee pain, sports injuries and so much more. It is fascinating to read what her sessions bring up emotionally for her clients that need to be released, along with their physical symptoms being alleviated.

I have enormous respect and appreciation for the fact that Kate undergoes CST on herself for the benefit of herself and her clients. She is very conscious of keeping herself grounded and neutral in order to best serve her clients.

Kate even shows us how to get a feel for cranialsacral therapy at home. I was thrilled to find an exercise to relax my jaw! Kate also includes resources to find additional information and CST's to work with nearby.

I highly recommend From My Hands and Heart. Thank you Kate Mackinnon for writing about this fascinating therapy in a way that everyone can understand. There is so much packed into this book, that I can't possibly cover it all here. I definitely recommend picking up a copy and learning more!

"I'm Like Rainbow Love" - Meeting My Spirit Guide Alicia Through Karen Kubicko

If you enjoyed my last blog about my reading with Karen Kubicko, and the introduction to my spirit guide Mr. Martin, then get ready for more!

As my reading with Karen Kubicko, (author of Life Is Just Another Class) continued, she talked about a pretty spirit guide who has been with me for hundreds of lifetimes. But before elaborating further, she turned the discussion towards my past lives. She saw my past lives to the left of me (5 angels behind me and 15 spirit guides to the right) and mind you, she is seeing all of this on the phone 1,700 miles away from me. She told me I was a writer for a living in five past lifetimes. It was nice to hear because I have enjoyed writing (and reading!) since I was young. I was always writing poems, stories and comics growing up. I had considered going to college for writing, but chose advertising design instead. Karen told me I was even a writer back in Alexandria, Egypt (3rd century BC). She told me I had written books that were in the Royal Library of Alexandria that was later destroyed by several fires, including those set by Caesar's army in 48 BC and an attack from Aurelian in 270 AD. This library and its contents became a symbol for loss of cultural knowledge.

(That's me climbing the ladder in the back right. Sorry, just a little past life humor...)

Karen said I was also a healer in 12 different lifetimes and can acquire those skills in this lifetime as well. She told me that I was killed for being a healer in 8 of those lifetimes. The people at the time thought it was witchcraft. A child had died and they thought it was my fault.

She asked if I wanted to know how I died. Of course I did! I didn't feel afraid, it was in the past and I am safe now. So I hope you don't mind if I share this with you too. Or you can always skip this paragraph. Okay, here we go! In one lifetime my head was cut off. I was called to heal someone in the family of a king-type person. I wasn't able to heal the child, so it was off with my head in the guillotine. Ick. I also ran through a sword in another lifetime. That one sounds pretty painful too. And in another lifetime I was barricaded in my home, and it was burned to the ground. It was pretty rough back then.

Karen told me to offer forgiveness to those who killed me, because they didn't understand that the person chose how they wanted to pass. It was not my fault. She told me to do this eight times for each lifetime that my life ended this way. This is a way to cut the cords tying me to those lifetimes, and to set myself free from anything connecting me to them. It's healing. I recently did this and let it all go.

As I'm writing this on my living room couch (I write everything on paper before I type it up, as I feel more connected that way.), my husband is heading outside with a large saw to cut some overgrown limbs (cue the guillotine flashback). He stops to grab the phone because an appraiser is coming by today to look at our roof. We have a leak from all of the Texas rain we've been getting. As he hands me the phone to keep beside me, he says "Martin." (Remember my spirit guide Mr. Martin from my last blog? If you haven't read it yet, take a look, it's a good one!) In shock, I said "Martin?" He said "Yes, Molly Martin," and grabbed the notecard he wrote with her name and number, and handed it to me too. Yes, our insurance appraiser's last name is Martin.

I am quite a believer in synchronicities, and I even write them down in my gratitude journal. Since my reading with Karen, there have been so many similar events. And being that I've completely sidetracked this blog, I'll share another Mr. Martin story. I was in my car last week to pick up lunch, and I was praying as I usually do in the car. It's just one of those places that have become a quiet, sacred space for me. I feel mindful and close to God, Jesus, the angels and archangels...the whole spiritual gang. I started talking to Mr. Martin. I just had a feeling that he didn't want me to call him Mr. Martin any longer. I said "What would you like me to call you now?" The first thing that came into my head was "Poppy." I have been trusting my intuition more and more through reading books like Sonia Choquette's Trust Your Vibes and online course like Doreen's Virtue's Clairvoyance Therapy class. So I said to him "If Poppy is what you want me to call you, can you please show me a dragonfly today and make sure I can see it, as my eyes aren't so great anymore."

I picked up lunch and started driving home. I noticed the traffic on the highway, and decided to stay on the access road. I ended up turning off to go the back roads on a street I usually don't take, but am familiar with. As I drove, I saw a bug fly across my car, but I wasn't certain if it was a dragonfly or not (and I almost swerved off the road trying to look at it). So I said aloud "Could you please clearly show me a dragonfly easily so that I don't drive off the road?" In less than 3 minutes, a dragonfly flew across my windshield. So Poppy it is!

Now back to my other spirit guide. She's been through hundreds of lifetimes with me, including my healing lifetimes. She's helping me and guiding me into the healing realm. She said it was necessary for me to see my past lives first and now we'll chat. She's had hundreds of lifetimes to help me understand my healing talent. Karen asked me if I had any books around me. I chuckled as I stared up at all of the spiritual and inspirational books lining my bookshelves. She said my guide brings books into my awareness on purpose, like Wayne Dyer. Then Karen seemed surprised by the message "He's doing well on the other side." I wasn't surprised at this point, I talk to Dr. Dyer in my prayers every day too, and thank him for all he's done to help me in my life. It was really special to hear that message.

Karen went on to describe my spirit guide. She said she was dressed in a chiffon, flowy dress with pastel orange over yellow, pink and green sleeves almost to the elbow. "I'm like rainbow love!" she told Karen. It sounds like rainbow love! Karen said in all seriousness she is healing me on all chakra levels in learning how to heal others. She said she was wearing a crown tiara with blue crystals and pastel purple, glittery shoes. I want this outfit!!! She said again she's healing me on all chakra levels, color can be so healing.

Karen asked me if I wear color. I said I love it, but I'm wearing alot of black because I'm fat. I have released the need to beat myself up or put myself down, but I felt that was truthful, so I said it. She said that I don't need to protect myself any more and I'll lose the weight. She said to forgive "that" away. As I forgive "that" (and she said it happened more than once), I will lose easily. It is amazing that Karen picked up on "that" with only speaking with me one time. What she is talking about has never been written about or even spoken about, even to my closest friends. I'm not sure if it was more than once, but I I have wondered since what I do remember, I was so young (around 6). But one memory was enough to carry a heavy weight (literally) until now. Honestly, just writing this little bit has me in tears, and then typing it has me crying. I have been thinking of this for awhile, and my plan is to write a letter about it, to let it all out. I'm not going to mail it, I'm going to burn it, say a prayer and release it from my life finally for good. Thank you Karen, for yet another HUGE healing moment from a two hour phone call.

Karen said to add color to my wardrobe. And since our talk, I have. I'm in pink, green (for Poppy!) and lots of bright colors. And I have to say, it brightens my whole day. I don't need to be thin to feel happy, and color makes me feel happy.

Karen told me my spirit guide's name is Alicia Montgomery. She has long hair, 5-6 inches past her shoulders, blondish-brown with a wave. Karen told me she hasn't always been my guide. I asked if she was ever in a lifetime with me, and she said she hasn't been, but has had the honor to watch over me. Alicia told Karen that she gave me her full name for my sake to connect with her. I really do like having a name.

Alicia keeps guiding me to books. She knows it's opening up talents that lay latent. (Books are constantly coming my way, in amazing and unexpected ways.) Karen said as a "small baby child" I tried to heal a dog (in this present lifetime), but I was young and didn't realize what I was doing. I don't remember that, but it is possible since one of the dogs we had when I was a kid was thrown down a flight of stairs. This is yet another story I've never talked about. I don't remember how young I was at the time, but the dog had seizures ever since.

There was quite a theme with this reading about children. From my five lifetimes with Mr. Martin where I died under ten years old, my death with him at seven, which coincided with my life-threatening appendectomy in this lifetime at age seven, my abuse in this lifetime at age 6, and the children in my healing lifetimes that died so young. So what does it all mean? I'm not completely sure yet, but I think maybe this lifetime is to learn to forgive myself, forgive others, and let it all go.

I have been learning about forgiveness. It has been a challenge for me. But what I am understanding now, is that you forgive for yourself. It doesn't mean what the person did was right,  and it doesn't mean you have to hang out with them. It means you let go of the pain and attachment that hurt was causing you. That is freedom.

Whether I'll end up as a healer, a writer, or both is yet to be discovered. But I know I am keeping myself open to everything, and will continue to learn, grow, meditate, and pray. I also know we are never alone. All of the answers are with us all the time, we just need to listen.

Thank you again Karen Kubicko! The reading was healing on so many levels. It was above and beyond anything I expected. It is an honor to know you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
